Below are recommendation for PC installation with and without Outlook Integration. You can do the same for Payment and other Addon.
First step is to disable the Outlook Integration in Company default. Logon as Manager (Super User) in Server or PC that already has SAP Client installed.
Add-Ons – Add-On Administration – Company Preferences.
Option 1 – Installation Steps For User that does not need Outlook Integration
- Logon as Manager (Super User) in Server or PC that already has SAP Client installed.
- Check Manager Add-on User Preference is set as 'Default (i.e. Disabled)' or 'Disable'.
- Install SAP client at PC.
- Logon as Manager (Super User) the first time, run as Administrator. You will notice all addons assigned to Manager will be installed except Outlook Integration.
- Logoff Manager.
- Logon as User, inspect required addons are connected successfully.
Option 2 – Installation Steps For User that need Outlook Integration
- Logon as Manager (Super User) in Server or PC that already has SAP Client installed.
- Select Manager in Add-On – Add-On Administration – User Preference, setup Preferences as Manual. This step is required for the Super User who will install the Addon.
- Select the relevant User, setup the preference for Outlook Integration as ‘Automatic’. This step will enable Outlook Integration to start automatically when User logon to SAP.
- Install SAP client at PC.
- Logon as Manager (Super User) the first time, run as Administrator. You will notice all required addon will be installed include Outlook Integration.
- Connect all Addon to ensure is connected successfully.
- Logoff Manager.
- Logon as User, inspect required addons are connected successfully .
- Logon as Manager and switch Manager's Preferences back to 'Default' or 'Disable'.
